The Swinging Sixties Lecture
9th October 2014

SWINGING SIXTIES — a Trip through the Kaleidoscopic art of the 1960s.

Everyone seems to have a different memory of the ‘Swinging Sixties’. There seems to be a cloud of mist (or is it smoke) shrouding the view.

This illustrated lecture by Adrian Sumner will attempt to bring the scene into sharp focus, looking at the incredible, often thrilling, variety of visual arts experiences on offer to a rapidly-expanding market, as the "Age of Aquarius kicked in".

The lecture links to the Coming of Age Exhibition opening on Saturday 20 September.

3.00pm - £3.00 on the door
