Inspirations from the Collection
8th October 2016 - 12th March 2017

Members of Visual Arts Cheshire, a Northwich-based community arts group, have been exploring the collections of Weaver Hall Museum and Chester’s Grosvenor Museum.

Joined by mature art students from Mid-Cheshire College, they are displaying the artwork created in response to their discoveries, together with some of the historic objects – including costume, natural history and salt-related artefacts – which inspired them.

The museum is open Tuesday to Sunday.

Also on Monday from 10am to 5pm on school holidays and Bank Holidays (except December).

Entrance to this special temporary exhibition is free.

There is a small charge when visiting the other galleries at the Weaver Hall Museum and Workhouse.

Contact the museum on 01606 271640 or
email cheshiremuseums@cheshirewestandchester.gov.uk for more details.
