Edwardian Fair at Weaver Hall and Centenary of the Pumping Station
The Friends of Weaver Hall Museum are teaming up with the nearby Dock Road Pumping Station to celebrate its centenary.
Many of the friends have kindly donated home made cakes and preserves; items they no longer require; books and plants. They have also volunteered to dress up for the afternoon and run the stalls selling these items together with one for the Museum stock. You will also be able to try your hand at some of the games that will be available.
A short walk away you can visit the Pumping Station where volunteers will be demonstrating its working machinery in action.
Adding to the atmosphere a brass band will be playing at both sites during the afternoon.
Come to the Fair and join in the celebrations between 1pm and 4:30pm
