Christmas Festivity: The Keepin Up O' Christmas
12th December 2012

Christmas as we know it was largely invented by the Victorians but how did they celebrate it?

What traditions did they keep?

Who, or what, were Mummers, Wassailers, and Wren Boys?

What did they sing?

Join Roy Clinging for an entertaining and informative look at a typical Victorian Christmas with songs, stories and well known carols to sing along with..

Doors open at 7pm for mulled wine and mince pies.

Admission is £5 or £4 for Friends of Weaver Hall Museum and Workhouse.
