Weekend Actvity: Willow Weaving Skills
8th March 2014

Between 10.30am and 4.30pm ....

Weaver Hall will be hosting a special workshop with artist and basket maker Caroline Gregson.

Caroline is making some willow pig sculptures for the museum grounds as part of the museum garden developments.

You are invited to come along and have a go at willow weaving skills and help to make these lovely sculptures.

There is a limit to the number of people who can work on the sculptures at any one time so at busy times there may be a little wait. However, this should not be a problem given the length of the workshop and we will work to ensure that everyone who wishes is able to have a go.

If you are planning to come along please contact Becky Cunning at the Museum on 01606 275055.

No experience is necessary, children under 12 will need to be supervised.

There will be a small museum entry cost for those attending after 2pm.

Contact the museum on 01606 271640 or
email cheshiremuseums@cheshirewestandchester.gov.uk for more details.
