Visit to Gawsworth Hall
8th June 2017

The Friends will visit Gawsworth Hall near Macclesfield, on the afternoon of Thursday 8th June 2017 at 2.30.

It would be very much appreciated if you could arrive between 2 and 2.15 pm, so that we can all go in together.

The group will be met by a member of the family, who will explain the very interesting history of the Hall, before you go off to explore it for yourselves, including the lovely gardens.

The tour round takes about an hour, but we must point out that there are a number of staircases to negotiate, which may be a problem for anyone with limited mobility.

There is also a Tearoom available for tea/coffee and snacks for your use on the day, and you do not need to book this in advance.

The cost of the visit is £6 per person and anyone wishing to join us should contact Anne Raffle via the contact page on our website.

Further information and an application form will be then forwarded to you.

Contact the museum on 01606 271640 or
email cheshiremuseums@cheshirewestandchester.gov.uk for more details.
