Private Exhibition Launch
12th February 2016

7.00pm for 7.30pm

Members of the Friends Group are invited to the launch of museum's next temporary exhibition "Motherhood".

This exhibition explores the role of ‘motherhood’ between 1860 and 1960.

Recognising that the role is not always fulfilled by the biological mother, the exhibition examines the themes of baby and child-care, home-making and ‘time out’.

Through objects, costumes and ephemera, the exhibition considers the roles of ‘motherhood’, labour-saving equipment, and the implications of social developments during a century of enormous change.

If you are a member and wish to take advantage of this invitation
please RSVP to WeaverHallAdmin@cheshirewest.gov.uk by Friday 5th February 2016.

Contact the museum on 01606 271640 or
