We regret that all showings of this film are now fully booked.

There is, however, a reserved list for cancellations.

WEAVER HALL MUSEUM is hosting this special event at its ‘Regalette’ Cinema.

Four short documentary films of Northwich have been discovered at The North West Film Archive in Manchester.

Lead Artist Katayoun Dowlatshahi and Brett Langston, Archivist at the Chester Records Office, have collaborated to present these silent films to the public as part of the COLLECT initiative.

Newly edited, the film will also have a commissioned narrative. Some previously unseen archive footage from as early as 1943 includes carnival scenes, street scenes, images of the redevelopment of Northwich during the 1960s and the royal visit of the Duchess of Kent, the Grand-daughter of Sir John Brunner.

Starts: 2.00pm

Doors open: 1.30pm

This film is also being shown on:

Friday 8th February 2013 at 2pm and 7pm
