Dementia-Friendly Museums
26th June 2019

From 3pm to 4pm

For the past five years Virginia Kettle, a Learning Assistant at the Grosvenor Museum, has been involved in planning and delivering dementia-inclusive workshops at the museum and in local care homes.

She uses the museum’s collection of handling objects to encourage conversation and memories. Virginia will talk about the joys (and the challenges!) of working with people living with dementia, and will bring along some artefacts from the handling collection.

Complimentary tea & coffee from 2.30pm.

Price: £3
