An evening celebrating the life and work of Robert Westall, one of the 20th century’s greatest writers for young people.
This year is the 40th anniversary of the publication of his first novel ‘The Machine Gunners’. The presentation will look at local links to the writer and will have readings of some of his more grown-up writings
